Scoring

How do I score on Apple Watch?

Open CourtPulse on your Watch and tap your sport, or start it from the iPhone with Start on Watch. During the match, tap the bottom half of the screen when your team wins the rally and the top half when the other team wins it. CourtPulse works out points, games, sets and who serves next.

I tapped the wrong side. How do I undo?

Swipe right on the Watch to the controls page and tap Undo. You can undo as many points as you need. On the iPhone scoreboard, tap the undo button.

How do I pause or end a match early?

Swipe right on the Watch for Pause and End. When you end early (for example when your court time runs out), you can save the match as it stands or discard it.

Which padel and pickleball rules are supported?

Padel: advantage, golden point or star point at 40-40; tie-break at 6-6; one set or best of three, with a full deciding set or a super tie-break to 10. Pickleball: side-out scoring with the server number ("4-2-1") or rally scoring; games to 11, 15 or 21, win by two; singles or doubles. Tap New Padel or New Pickleball to change the format. CourtPulse remembers your last one.

How do I show the score to everyone on court?

On your iPhone, start a match with Score on iPhone, or open the live card on the Home screen while a Watch match is running. The Court Display shows the score in huge numbers and follows your Watch live. Turn the phone sideways for an even bigger scoreboard.

Apple Watch stats

Why does CourtPulse count so few (or too many) shots?

Wear your Watch on your racket or paddle arm, snug on your wrist. Make sure your Watch knows which wrist it's on: on iPhone, open the Watch app › General › Watch Orientation. Shot counts and smash speeds are estimates from wrist motion, so they won't be perfect.

My heart rate or calories are missing.

Check that CourtPulse is allowed to read Health data: on iPhone, open the Health app › your profile (top right) › Apps › CourtPulse, and turn on all categories. Heart rate is measured only for matches scored on Apple Watch.

My match isn't in the Fitness or Health app.

CourtPulse saves each match as a Paddle Sports (padel) or Pickleball workout. Make sure it's allowed to write workouts in the Health app › your profile › Apps › CourtPulse. Matches you end with Discard aren't saved.

A Watch match didn't show up on my iPhone.

Finished matches are sent as soon as your iPhone is in range. Open CourtPulse on your iPhone with Bluetooth on and give it a moment. Matches are queued on the Watch, so they aren't lost if the iPhone was away during play.

Sync, map & leaderboards

How do I keep my matches on a new iPhone?

CourtPulse saves to your iCloud automatically. Sign in with the same Apple ID on the new iPhone, make sure iCloud is on for CourtPulse (Settings › [your name] › iCloud), then open the app.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no CourtPulse account and no sign-up. Your Apple ID handles sync, purchases and Game Center.

My courts don't appear on the map.

CourtPulse saves where you played only if you allow location. Go to Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › CourtPulse and choose While Using the App. It applies to matches you play from then on.

My scores don't show on the leaderboards.

Check that you're signed in to Game Center in Settings › Game Center. CourtPulse sends your wins, points won and fastest smash after each match you save.

Purchases

What's free and what's Pro?

Scoring, the Court Display, Apple Health workouts and your match history are free. CourtPulse Pro, when offered, adds the shot breakdown, heart-rate analysis, insights, trends, records and stickers.

How do I restore Pro on a new device?

Open the Profile tab and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the Apple ID you bought it with.

How do I cancel a subscription or get a refund?

Cancel in Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › CourtPulse. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
